The Philadelphia Eagles have a mission to get back to the Super Bowl. This is a crucial offseason when assessing that goal, starting with free agency and ending with the NFL draft. Here’s a look at some potential options for the Eagles at pick 23.

Kenyon Sadiq

Kenyon Sadiq is a dynamic TE from Oregon. He had a fantastic combine and has reportedly been having great interviews. Dallas Goedert is a free agent, so the Eagles will need to address the TE position. If Sadiq is there at 23, he seems like the obvious pick.

Dillon Thieneman

Dillon Thieneman is a safety who, like Sadiq, had a great draft combine. He went from a second-round pick to a near guaranteed day one selection. Free agency once again plays a role here, as Reed Blankenship is set to hit the open market.

Emmanuel McNeil-Warren

Emmanuel McNeil-Warren is another first-round safety who could catch the Eagles’ eye at 23. He, like Quinyon Mitchell, is from Toledo. He stands at 6’3 and would instantly bolster the run defense in Philadelphia. Blankenship’s looming free agency once again opens the door for the Eagles to pick a safety.

Cashius Howell

Cashius Howell is one of the best pure edge rushers in this year’s draft class. His speed and ability to get off the line quickly stand out. His arm length has been a topic of concern around the combine, but the talent is certainly there. Adding a player with double-digit sack upside like Howell would give Philadelphia something it hasn’t had since Haason Reddick.

Avieon Terrell

Avieon Terrell is not just the brother of an all-pro; he’s also a standout corner on his own. He’s very good in man coverage, giving the Eagles a perfect pair on the opposite side of Mitchell. Philadelphia has been searching for someone to fill that void in the defensive backfield, and adding Terrell would do just that.

Monroe Freeling

Monroe Freeling is a towering offensive tackle from Georgia. He would be drafted as the eventual successor of legendary RT Lane Johnson. Standing at 6’7, the Eagles would have two massive tackles on either end of the line of scrimmage with Freeling and Jordan Mailata.

End Of My Philadelphia Eagles Rant

The Eagles adding any of these players would give them a talent who fills a position of need. Howie Roseman has been fantastic at nailing the draft. 2026 seems to be set up for him to do it again.
