Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown is widely regarded as one of the best players at his position in the NFL. His team defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX gave him a coveted ring to add to his already prestigious resume.
At the end of the day, though, physical things, even Super Bowl rings, are just that: things. As a highly successful and very well-paid NFL star, Brown has plenty of things that other might covet.
And one of those things, apparently, was his car.
On Monday morning, Brown posted on social media saying that his car had been stolen on Easter night. In that post, he had a message for the thief:
“To whoever stole my car last night, I’ll make a deal with you…. Bring back my car and I won’t press charges, or when I find you today, it’s going to be what it’s going to be. Take it or leave it my guy.”
He is currently in jail.
Shortly after his car was recovered and the thief thrown in jail, Brown posted the following video on social media:

Brown says in the video that all the thief had to do was turn the car back in and he would not press charges. But since the person did not do that, they “have to deal with the consequences.”
Brown also told a humorous story about his young son. While he was filing his report with the police, his son came running out and, referencing the police vehicles, said “Paw Patrol! Paw Patrol!”
“Everybody got jokes this morning, huh?” Brown said in response.
