They don't play often. Due to that AFC-NFC thing, the Philadelphia Eagles and Cincinnati Bengals only meet once every four years unless they clash during a Super Bowl. They only meet once every eight years in Ohio's Queen City. Their last clash came in 2020, Joe Burrow's rookie season. How's this for reference? Here's how long it's been. Carson Wentz was Philly's starting quarterback. Wow! That's all we can say about that one. These two franchises have met 15 times. Cincy holds an edge in the all-time tally with a 9-4-2 edge. The first game produced a Bengals win that almost mirrored the score of the most recent meeting. The first Eagles vs. Bengals game occurred in September of 1971. That one ended with a 37-14 score in favor of the hometown Bengals. The most recent battle was also in Cincy. This time, the Birds were on the right side of the final score, a nearly identical 37-17 win in favor of Philadelphia. With that, the jinx has finally ended. Stop us if you've heard this before. Before Week 8's beatdown
