Philadelphia Eagles Had Perfect Reaction To Tush Push Decision

After years of back-and-forth discussion, not even the weight of the NFL's owners could reportedly stop the "Tush Push."

On Wednesday, the league announced the Eagles' controversial short-yardage play will live on for at least another year thanks to 22-10 vote — two short of potentially banning it for good.

The Jets, Lions, Ravens and Patriots are the teams believed to have been on Philadelphia's side when it comes to this issue.

And in celebration the Eagles took a page out of the Nike playbook; overlaying the words "Push On" on top of a photo of the team lining up to run the play.

The simple response drew a big reaction from fans around the football world.

"You are not prepared for how much Eagles fans are going to talk about this next season. You've only made them cockier," Mitch Goldich warned.

"Need this on a shirt. ASAP," a Birds fan replied.

"The Packers stopped the play pictured lol," Aaron Nagler pointed out.

"Please run it on the 1st play of the game vs. Dallas," Stanford Steve pleaded.

"Savage," Deadspin posted.

"Give the admin a Raise."

"Social media masterclass ," a user cried.

Other Wednesday happenings included the Lions rescinding their playoff seeding proposal, as well as a ruling that will allow teams to declare an onside kick any time during a game when they're trailing.

Philadelphia has run the push over 100 times since since 2022. With the next closest being the Buffalo Bills (55) and Chicago Bears (16).
