The main goal for Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles remains the same – to win the Super Bowl after winning it last February.
Despite what has become an offseason filled with extracurricular activities, football is still the top priority for the former Oklahoma Sooners star quarterback.
Via Eagles Nation:
Reporter: “A big offseason for you in general. Getting married, the Met Gala, Time Magazine, things like that. How do you keep that from preventing you from ‘Keeping the main thing the main thing’?
Jalen Hurts: “The main thing is always the main thing. You only know what you see. The routine is always the routine.”
It is one thing to win the Super Bowl, and it’s another to defend it. With everybody else having a target on Philly’s back, Hurts and the Eagles will face the challenge of winning a Super Bowl in the 2025 NFL season under different circumstances this time around.
Hurts and the Eagles’ offense will also be working with a new offensive coordinator, with Kellen Moore leaving Philly for a head-coaching gig for the New Orleans Saints. As a replacement for Moore, the Eagles hired Kevin Patullo, who takes over the team’s offense that put up fifth in the league in 2024 with a 29.0 points per game average.
In the 2024 season, Hurts threw for 2,903 passing yards and 18 touchdowns and five interceptions.
