Despite having a standout preseason performance, the Philadelphia Eagles made the decision to move on from running back Carson Steele.

Steele had just had a strong Week 3 preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals as he caught eight passes for 52 yards and a touchdown while also rushing eight times for 24 yards. It looked like Steele did enough to earn a spot on the roster, but this was not the case.

Carson Steele Should Receive Another Chance in the NFL

It will be more than likely that the Eagles attempt to bring Steele back on the practice squad, but his preseason performances with showcasing once again his versatility, will make it difficult for other teams to not be interested.

Any team looking for a physical third-down back, fullback, or even special teams contributor will jump at the chance to claim Steele off waivers.
