With 17 games in the regular season, the Cincinnati Bengals have three opportunities to wear their alternative uniforms. Deciding on which games to bring them out of the wardrobe should be a thoughtful process.

Cincinnati has two alternatives they can wear a select number of games per season. The "White Bengal" uniform features an all-white look with the team's alternative white helmet. Cincinnati also has an orange jersey that is typically paired with their black pants and orange socks.

The Bengals won't announce their uniform schedule until much closer to the start of the season, but there's nothing stopping us now from predicting when the alternates get their chance to shine. Here is when the team should put on their two alternate uniforms this year.

Week 3 vs. Washington Commanders

Uniform: White Bengal

This will be the fourth consecutive year the Bengals will have a home primetime game between the third and fourth week of the season.

Each of the previous three games featured the franchise's annual Ring of Honor induction under the bright lights and in front of a national televised audience. They were also the perfect settings to wear alternate uniforms.

This year should be no different on Monday Night Football against the Commanders.

The last two Ring of Honor games have featured the "White Bengal" getup in front of a white-out home crowd on a warm late summer evening. This is a layup.

Week 10 @ Baltimore Ravens

Uniform: White Bengal

The updated "White Bengal" combo made its road debut last year on Monday Night Football against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a thrilling victory for Cincinnati. Replicating those vibes on a Thursday night in a more hostile environment would be a power move to say the least.

Bengals at Ravens has been a primetime staple since 2022, though the Bengals have yet to notch a win under the lights in M&T Bank Stadium in the Joe Burrow era. Burrow's only win in Baltimore came during the 2021 season when they were severe underdogs.

Losses are not common when the Bengals bring out these threads. They might as well leverage that for the big stage.

Week 16 vs. Cleveland Browns

Uniform: Orange Jersey/Black Pants

The second and final home primetime game of the Bengals' season is all the way in Week 16; a Thursday night matchup against their in-state rivals. The Browns' color scheme often times clashes with the Bengals during their games, but this evening could be a special exception.

Last year saw Bengals fans "Stripe the Jungle" for the very first time for a Sunday Night Football game against the Buffalo Bills. Fans of certain sections wore either black or orange, creating a visual of black stripes on an orange base throughout the stadium. The team wore their standard black jerseys and white pants for this occasion, but bringing out the rare orange jerseys with black pants would be much more appropriate.

Bengals founder Paul Brown purposely made the Bengals' colors similar to the Browns as a petty decision, but the Browns don't currently have orange jerseys. Wearing this uniform in a primetime setting against Cleveland would be perfect for that reason alone, and it would also give the visitors a chance to wear their all-white alternate getup they debuted last year for a clean contrast.
