It's finally upon us.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to make their home opener against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, and it looks to be a big one.
Two undefeated teams with similar identities, it figures to be an old-school set of 60 minutes.
Here's what you need to know in terms of what portion of the nation will be able to watch:
It only made sense to see the broadcast map cover a wide portion of the country, with two big name head coaches and undefeated teams facing off in arguably the best game of the early window, and certainly on CBS.
The A team for CBS is on the call as the game is the marquee of the early window. Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson are the trio as many around the nation will be locked in for a big early season test among AFC foes.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing for Justin Fields as signal caller for the third week in a row following Mike Tomlin's Tuesday presser. It's yet another shot, and the most important one yet for Fields if he wants to cement his role as the starting QB.
After that, the questions surrounding Justin Herbert are worth monitoring. Chargers HC Jim Harbaugh said the X-rays on Herbert's lower leg came back negative after he was rolled up on, but that means he is either going to be less than 100% or out altogether on Sunday, something we gain clarity on as the week grows.
But in terms of matchup, these are two teams that want to run the ball, defend the run and win in a barroom brawl fashion. That's only emphasized if Herbert is out, but either way, don't expect 40-50 pass attempts from Pittsburgh or Los Angeles.
