Play of the Season? Bills Score Wild Touchdown vs. Dolphins
© Sam Navarro, USA TODAY

The Buffalo Bills have finally found the end zone in Sunday's AFC East Championship against the Miami Dolphins, but they did so in the most unlikely of fashions.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen had two passes picked off in the end zone in the first half, With Buffalo threatening at the goal line, it looked like he was going to throw a third pick after his pass got tipped high in the air and seemed to hang up there forever.

Instead, the unbelievable happened.

The pass sailed toward the back of the end zone and into the arms of receiver Trent Sherfield, who displayed impressive body control and awareness to haul in the six-yard touchdown to tie the game at 7-7.

Take a look:

Sherfield, a former Dolphin who signed with Buffalo this past offseason, had just eight catches for 62 yards entering Week 18.

But regardless of his lack of production, he's coming up big when the team needs it most.

If the Bills win, they'd claim the AFC East crown and would earn the No. 2 seed in the playoffs, setting up a date with the No. 7 seed Pittsburgh Steelers. If the Dolphins win, they'll be the division champs and No. 2 seed while hosting the Bills at Hard Rock Stadium for a second straight week in the Wild Card round.
