After a crazy weekend of conference championship football, sportsbooks adjusted their odds for all sorts of outcomes ahead of Super Bowl LVII on Feb. 12. That includes odds on who will score the first touchdown in the big game two weeks from now. The leading favorite shouldn't come as a surprise.
According to BetMGM , tight end Travis Kelce is the current favorite to tally the first score in Super Bowl LVII at +650 odds. The veteran and longtime anchor for the Kansas City Chiefs offense had seven receptions for 78 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 win against the Cincinnati Bengals, including the first touchdown of the day in the second quarter after the Chiefs and Bengals exchanged field goals.
The towering tight end is also listed as the third favorite at +1100 odds to win Super Bowl MVP at BetMGM, behind quarterbacks Jalen Hurts (+110) and Patrick Mahomes (+125). That's a big leap from last week when Joe Burrow, Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey all had better odds of winning the Pete Rozelle Trophy.

This Super Bowl is also a particularly notable one for the Kelce family, with Travis' brother Jason suiting up for the Philadelphia Eagles on the opposite side of the field. It is the first time in NFL history that brothers will play against each other in the Super Bowl.
