Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers may have a real shot at becoming the next full-time host of "Jeopardy!"
A recent survey conducted by Civic Science shows that 22% of "Jeopardy!" fans want former champion Ken Jennings to become the show's permanent host, while 16% of fans would prefer Rodgers to take the job.
Rodgers was the top choice among viewers aged 18-to-24. Jennings was the preferred choice among every other age bracket.
Rodgers drew solid ratings during his two-week stint as the host of "Jeopardy!" in April, boosting the show by 14% compared to previous guest host Dr. Mehmet Oz.
Rodgers said recently during an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" that he would "love" to be the full-time "Jeopardy!" host. His comments came after his reported rift with the Packers was made public.
The 37-year-old reportedly wants out of Green Bay and will even consider retiring if he's not traded or his situation with the Packers doesn't improve.
"Jeopardy!" is expected to announce its permanent host before filming the new season in July or early August.
