Predicting the Cincinnati Bengals Remaining Games
USA TODAY Network via Reuters Connect

The Cincinnati Bengals are 3-2 heading into their bye week and are sitting just a game out of first place in the AFC North. They have wins over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Houston Texans, and Miami Dolphins, while they have losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars.

The offense has been efficient but has lacked big plays, while the defense has improved but still needs to improve its tackling. The Bengals have twelve games after the bye week, and here is how they will do the rest of the season.

Bengals Record Prediction

Week 7: @Ravens – Win

Bengals are usually strong after the bye week, and if Lamar Jackson plays, it will be his first game back from injury. Bengals pull this one out.

Week 8: Titans – Win

The Tennessee Titans are one of the worst teams in football this year, and the Bengals should be able to win this one easily.

Week 9: Falcons – Win

The Atlanta Falcons will be a tough game for the Bengals, but their defense should be able to get after Michael Penix Jr. and force him off his game.

Week 10: Steelers – Win

Bengals lost the first game to the Steelers, but they won’t get swept by them. The defense should play better this time around.

Week 11: @Commanders – Loss

This feels like a game the Bengals lose coming off of an emotional win over the Steelers. Jayden Daniels is talented and can cause the Bengals issues.

Week 12: Saints – Win

The New Orleans Saints are a solid team, but the Bengals are just better on both sides of the ball. They will take care of business here.

Week 13: @Browns – Win

The Cleveland Browns are 3-2 right now, but aren’t as good as their record shows. The Bengals defensive line should be able to dominate and force some turnovers from the Browns.

Week 14: Chiefs – Loss

The Kansas City Chiefs have been one of the best teams in football this year. This should be a close game, but the Bengals’ inability to cover tight ends and the outside run will be an issue here.

Week 15: @Panthers – Win

The Carolina Panthers are playing good football so far this year, but they still aren’t ready to be one of the top teams. The Bengals win a close one here.

Week 16: @Colts – Win

The Indianapolis Colts haven’t been good so far this year, and the Bengals should win this one fairly easily as long as they aren’t looking ahead to the Ravens.

Week 17: Ravens – Loss

The Bengals likely won’t sweep the Ravens, even though they have the talent to. This game could decide the division, but I think the Ravens pull this one out.

Week 18: Browns – Win

The Bengals will likely be playing for seeding here, and the Browns for nothing. The Bengals should pull this one out.
