Private Jets and Steakhouses? Ben Johnson-Mania Occurring in Chicago

The coaching cycle is the first entertaining aspect of the NFL offseason, especially if your team is involved. In the case of those who root for the Chicago Bears, it has consumed the minds of fans since the NFL season concluded. The Bears entered the offseason as one of the better situations available to potential head coaches. Although the Dallas Cowboys have now entered the picture, the New England Patriots and Bears were the two situations that highly favor a new head coach. Between cap space and young, talented quarterbacks already in place, they were the places to be. 

Fast forward to present day. Mike Vrabel is now the head coach of the Patriots, and the Bears are the best job still on the market. The Bears' coaching search has been comedic so far, given the number of candidates they've interviewed. But even after interviewing 17 candidates, and requests for two others out there, the Bears seem to have their sites set on one man: Ben Johnson. 

Now, the fans feel the same way. On Monday afternoon, a private jet flying from the Detroit area to Chicago was believed to be similar to the plane the McCaskey family has used in the past to bring in head coaches. Although some reports appear to contradict that thought process, the craze is still present.
