Aaron Jones will remain with the Green Bay Packers for at least four more years.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Jones agreed to a four-year, $48 million deal with Packers on Sunday. The Pro Bowl running back confirmed the news via Twitter:

Jones would have become a free agent if the Packers didn't lock him up this weekend. Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Jones would have signed for more in free agency but wanted to stay in Green Bay. His deal includes a $13 million signing bonus.

The 26-year-old had one of the best seasons of his career in 2020, rushing for a career-high 1,104 yards and nine touchdowns. He also caught 47 passes for 355 yards and two touchdowns. It was his second consecutive season of 1,000-plus rushing yards.
