The Philadelphia Eagles are entering the 2025 season looking to defend their Super Bowl title. To do so, the Eagles must continue to see a high level of play from quarterback Jalen Hurts and their offense.
When Hurts looks downfield to pass, one of his top targets is wide receiver A.J. Brown. The pair missed some practice time together in training camp, as Brown went down with a hamstring issue. But when the Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, Philadelphia's star wide receiver looks ready to suit up.
Brown practiced in full on Monday. Furthermore, he wasn't even listed on the injury report, proving the wide receiver is fully past his injury, via Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network.
"Eagles WR A.J. Brown, who missed a chunk of training camp with a hamstring issue, isn't even listed on the season's initial injury report," Pelissero wrote. "He's on track to face the Cowboys on Thursday night."

The Eagles originally acquired Brown in a trade with the Tennessee Titans in 2022. Ever since his arrival, the wide receiver has been one of the most critical targets in the passing attack. That won't change in 2025 with Brown once again poised to lead the wide receiver room.
His first season in Philadelphia immediately led to a Pro Bowl appearance, as Brown caught 88 passes for 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns, all career-highs at the time. He followed it up with another Pro Bowl bid in 2023, setting a new career-best with 106 receptions, alongside 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns.
Brown dealt with a hamstring injury during the 2024 campaign, appearing in just 13 games. Still, he managed to make 67 grabs for 1,079 yards and seven touchdowns. Prior to the season, the Eagles signed Brown to a four-year, $96 million extension, rewarding him for the success he has found in the offense.
Now that his new hamstring issue is behind him, Brown can focus on helping the Eagles win football games again. A win against the Cowboys in their opener would show the team is serious about their Super Bowl repeat hopes.
