As the 2024 NFL season dwindles down, the Pro Football Hall of Fame has revealed 15 Modern-Era Finalists for the Class of 2025.
“Fifteen former standouts in the National Football League have reached the doorstep of enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame with the announcement Saturday morning of the Finalists in the Modern-Era Player category for the Class of 2025 presented by Visual Edge,” the Pro Football Hall of Fame wrote in a press release.
“Comprising the Class of 2025’s Modern-Era Player list of candidates are nine players who also reached this stage in the selection process when the Class of 2024 was chosen, five players in their first year of eligibility and a first-time Finalist in his fourth year of eligibility.”
We’ll find out who made the cut for the Class of 2025 when it’s unveiled publicly on Feb. 6 during the NFL Honors. Until then, check out all the nominees below, courtesy of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The Selection Committee has some rules for how many nominees they can select. All told, they may elect up to five Modern-Era Players for the Class of 2025, and each must receive a minimum positive vote of 80% for election.
Time will tell who gets the nod for the Class of 2025, but it’s evident each player is more than deserving of being honored. Whoever gets in will be elated, and each player who misses the cut will be hoping to hear their name called in 2026.
