Projecting the Seahawks' Starting Lineup After Preseason

The Seattle Seahawks have wrapped up the 2026 preseason. It wasn’t the prettiest stretch of games ever seen, but a decent amount was still learned about this team.

In the next 24 hours, dozens of players will be cut from this roster. Most of the roster spots are probably accounted for, and the starting lineup is almost definitely already set. On paper, this is still one of the most talented rosters in the league.

Did the preseason change anything about the starting lineup, though? Let’s go ahead and project what the starting lineups will look like ahead of cut day.

Seahawks’ Starting Offense Projection

Quarterback: Sam Darnold

Running Back: Jadarian Price

Fullback: Brady Russell

Wide Receiver: Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Wide Receiver: Cooper Kupp

Tight End: A.J. Barner

Left Tackle: Charles Cross

Left Guard: Grey Zabel

Center: Jalen Sundell

Right Guard: Anthony Bradford

Right Tackle: Abraham Lucas

There are no surprises here. The Seahawks technically have George Holani listed as the starter on their most recent depth chart, but that seems to be more of a case of making the rookie Price earn it, rather than actually projecting Holani to get the most carries.

This offensive line is set, and Barner will be the starter at tight end, but we’ll see plenty of Elijah Arroyo as well.

Defensive End: Leonard Williams

Nose Tackle: Byron Murphy II

Defensive Tackle: Jarran Reed

Edge Rusher: DeMarcus Lawrence

Inside Linebacker: Ernest Jones IV

Inside Linebacker: Drake Thomas

Edge Rusher: Uchenna Nwosu

Cornerback: Devon Witherspoon

Cornerback: Josh Jobe

Nickel: Nick Emmanwori

Safety: Julian Love

Safety: Ty Okada

There aren’t many questionable spots on defense, either. Tyrice Knight could end up seeing more snaps than Thomas, but other than that, this group is set barring injury.

When the Seahawks aren’t in a nickel package, Emmanwori will play in Okada’s safety spot. That Love-Emmanwori is one of the best combinations in the league, and Witherspoon and Jobe are another elite combo at corner.

Kicker: Jason Myers

Punter: Michael Dickson

Long Snapper: Chris Stoll

No surprises here. 1, but it’ll take more than that for the Seahawks to give up on him.
