Samantha Laurey / Argus Leader / USA TODAY NETWORK

Elijah Griffin, On3 Sports #2 2025 recruit in the nation , sat down with their reporter, Chad Simmons for a short interview. Simmions asked the 6’4″ 290 lbs defensive lineman about what defensive line coach Eric Henderson brings to the table when pitching him USC Football.

“He brings up a lot of this quote-unquote thing called Dawg Work. Basically it just means you gotta be a dog to play defensive line. To play in the trenches, you gotta be different, have a different mind set from everybody else. I think that he truly brings that to the table. That’s what he’s he talks to me about, he talks to my mom about my uncle. That is what he brings to the table, his mindset and he believes in what he could do for me toget into that next level. Coaching the one of the best defensive tackles [Aaron Donald] to ever play the game. I mean, the proof is in the pudding. That’s what I get from USC.
