Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts, it was announced Wednesday.
Nacua had a career day in the Rams’ win over the Colts, finishing with 13 receptions for 170 yards and a touchdown. It was the most yards or his career and two receptions off his high.
It’s been an exceptional start to the season for Nacua as he leads the league in receptions with 42 and receiving yards with 503. He also has two total touchdowns, one through the air and one on the ground.
This NFC Offensive Player of the Week honor was the second of Nacua’s career as he also earned it in Week 16 in 2023. In that game against the New Orleans Saints, he had 164 receiving yards which was his previous career-high before going for 170 against the Colts.
Nacua is the second Ram to earn player of the week recognition this season, joining inside linebacker Nate Landman, who earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 1.
Puka Nacua is doing everything for the Rams to start the season and he talked about being on the same page as Matthew Stafford.
“It feels super fun when you go out there and you’re moving the ball forward and you’re feeling like everything’s on the right page,” Nacua said. “And I just think it feels good to be on the same page as Matthew.”
As long as Nacua stays healthy, he will continue to produce at a high rate for the Rams.
