There's no love lost between the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints this Tuesday.

Since they'll meet in the preseason this Friday, the Cowboys and Saints are practicing together this Tuesday in Southern California. Luckily for the fans in attendance, it didn't take very long for things to get chippy on the field.

During the early stages of this Tuesday's scrimmage, Cowboys linebacker Donovan Ezeiruaku and Saints offensive lineman Erik McCoy were seen throwing punches at each other. Ezeiruaku was ultimately tossed from the field for his role in this fight.

That wasn't the only fight that took place during this joint practice.

Saints rookie wideout Brock Rechsteiner, who is the son of legendary wrestler Scott Steiner, found himself in an all-out war with a defensive player on the Cowboys.

"Someone on the Cowboys just punched Brock Rechsteiner, and then after they fought, Rechsteiner fought another player and straight up body slammed him," Luke Johnson of the New Orleans Times-Picayune said. "More fighting than football today it seems."

2026 outlook for the Cowboys and the Saints.

If the Cowboys improve their defense, there's no reason why they can't contend for a division title. After all, the trio of Dak Prescott , CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens should keep them in most games.

As for the Saints, they'll need an impressive Year 2 from quarterback Tyler Shough if they're going to compete in the NFC South. The good news, however, is no one in the division took a huge leap this offseason.

We'll see if the Cowboys and Saints make some noise this fall.
