Bears Sign QB Brett Rypien

Rypien bounced around the league for the last four years after going undrafted out of Boise State. He spent the first three years of his NFL career with the Denver Broncos as a backup quarterback and Rypien played in two games for the Los Angeles Rams in 2023.

Over ten career games, Brett Rypien threw four touchdowns and nine interceptions. He signed onto Seattle's practice squad in 2023 and spent time with current Chicago Bears offensive coordinator, Shane Waldron.

Rypien also spent time with the New York Jets and played in several games last season after they released Tim Boyle.
