Freezing temperatures are sweeping the northeast, and the Steelers are doing their best to prepare as they're set to host the Raiders on Saturday night.
QB Kenny Pickett is seeking advice from fellow rookie WR George Pickens to help combat the frigid temps.
"You can't prepare for that. Seven degrees, whatever it's going to be," Pickett told reporters. "I'll wear a thicker thermal and maybe put on a ski mask. I'll ask George which one he prefers. I'll rock the same one G.P. is rocking and we'll be good to go."
It’s going to be in the single digits at kickoff Saturday night, with a windchill below zero.

A video of Pickens went viral when he was drafted by Pittsburgh. It showed him wearing a ski mask and watching himself get drafted on TV. He's worn one ever since, so it's safe to say he'll be able to help Pickett out.

Pickett has never played in a game this cold but is looking forward to learning what it's all about.
"In the teens. I don't know if I've ever hit single digits," Pickett added. "I don't know if you feel much of a difference. I'm sure the wind will be a little bit more of a factor, but we'll see. I'm excited to see what it feels like."
Maybe the new ski mask duo can help the Steelers win their second straight game and the fifth of their last seven.
