Quinshon Judkins Week 3 Fantasy Football Matchup Analysis

As a rookie, we saw Quinshon Judkins have a solid fantasy football season, scoring 12.1 PPG. It wasn’t necessarily anything special, but as a building block, it certainly wasn’t bad either. 

Now, the problem is not that Judkins is a bad running back, and if the situation were different, he would be producing at a better rate than this. Judkins was drafted 36th overall back in the 2025 NFL Draft, but the Cleveland Browns were the ones who selected him.

The Browns’ offense has been very poor for years now, and despite looking better in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, we can’t ignore the fact that they scored 10 points against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1.

This season, Judkins has really struggled, not being able to cross 10 points in either Week 1 or 2, and he’s only had 12 carries in each game. Even as a prospect, Judkins was always a better rusher than receiver, which doesn’t really work when Cleveland is frequently trailing in these games.

With that in mind, the matchup really matters for Judkins and how good he can be in fantasy football. 

Quinshon Judkins Week 3 Matchup: Fantasy Football 

Judkins actually had five targets and five catches last week, but he only turned that into 27 receiving yards. Then, with those 12 carries, Judkins only had 21 rushing yards, 1.8 YPC, and zero touchdowns.

A big reason for that is that the Cleveland Browns currently rank 29th on the latest set of PFF offensive line rankings. 

Now, for the matchup this week, Judkins takes on the Carolina Panthers, who notably allowed 59 points to the Chicago Bears in Week 1.

As you would expect, the Panthers look like a good matchup, allowing the 2nd most fantasy points to running backs this year, and last season they allowed the 7th most fantasy points to running backs.

With that being said, it is worth noting that the PFF matchup tool calls this a “Poor” matchup for Judkins, but it seems like part of that is Judkins grading out as the worst running back in the NFL right now among 74 backs, something that feels off. 

With that being said, it feels like this is a week that you can rely on Quinshon Judkins to be your RB2 and score anywhere between 12 and 14 fantasy points because of the matchup, and hope that his YPC has to increase.
