The Las Vegas Raiders are now 1-1, and have a very good chance to start the season 2-1, as they are set to play the worst team in the NFL the Carolina Panthers, where they just beat the Baltimore Ravens and lost to the Los Angeles Chargers, two pretty good teams. So, in a way, this game could be a break for the Raiders.
But, that doesn't mean they should take them likely. This is the NFL, and, to be honest, this is the Raiders, anything could happen. Antonio Pierce said it was the best way possible to start his press conference on Monday, too.
"We're not worried about the Panthers, we have to fix the Raiders," Pierce told the media.

And, the Raiders did play badly for 75% of the game on the offensive side of the ball. The defense was amazing as we all expected, but the offense couldn't figure out a way to stop the bad plays. Finally, they did, and it led to an awesome touchdown catch by Davante Adams.
While they are trying to fix what's wrong, the game plan will change though. It's unexpected, too, but as his press conference was going on, some news was announced. The Panthers have decided to bench their second-year, former No. 1 overall pick quarterback, Bryce Young, and go with Andy Dalton instead.
Antonio Pierce was not made aware of this. He was asked, what are the challenges of facing Andy Dalton, and he seemed confused by the question.

On #Panthers benching Young
"I don't know what happened. I was in meetings. I have to go back to the drawing board, I wasn't prepared for that one," Pierce said with a confused face.
Seeing how the Panthers have been, they may have rather play Bryce Young than Andy Dalton, just because of that veteran factor. But, they should be ready regardless.
