Raiders Cut Ties With Veteran WR After Failed Physical

With the Las Vegas Raiders having a major influx of young talent, some veteran players are going to get pushed out. Between the draft and undrafted free agency, the team has added 26 rookies to the roster.

That's nearly half of the roster spots the Raiders can have during the regular season. One name who won't be returning is wide receiver Jeff Foreman.

Las Vegas announced that they've waived Foreman with a failed physical designation. He was an undrafted free agent signing of the Raiders last season, but wasn't able to get on the field for a single game despite injuries at the position.

With Las Vegas having a new coaching staff and front office in place, it was always going to be an uphill battle for Foreman to make the roster.

The Raiders drafted three wide receivers and signed another one as an undrafted free agent. One player who should get some hype this offseason is second-round pick Jack Bech.

He had a chance to speak about what it's like working with head coach Pete Carroll after the Raiders' first practice of rookie minicamp.

“You’ve got to be conditioned,” Bech told reporters. “You have to be able to run all day. And I think, obviously, conditioning on your own and football conditioning, it’s a little different. … I’m excited to keep coming out here and keep learning under one of the greatest coaches ever and keep sharpening not only my physical skill set but my mental skill set, too.”
