Raiders' Darren Waller, Derek Carr, others fined for violating COVID-19 guidelines

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported on Monday afternoon that Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller was fined $30,000 and several teammates were fined $15,000 each for attending Waller's recent charity event without wearing masks.

Quarterback Derek Carr is one Las Vegas player known to have received a fine:

As Pelissero noted, it's at least the third time the Raiders have been associated with fines for violations of health and safety protocols since the start of the season held amid the coronavirus pandemic:

It was reported last week that the NFL and Raiders were investigating if Waller and others violated Las Vegas guidelines and league rules after pictures emerged of players not wearing masks while at the charity event.

Previously, Jon Gruden of the Raiders was among NFL coaches fined $100,000 for failing to properly wear face coverings on sidelines during games. The Raiders were also fined after an unauthorized team employee entered their locker room following the Week 2 win over the New Orleans Saints.
