Raiders' Davante Adams earns top rating in 'Madden'

Newly-acquired wide receiver Davante Adams has amped up the Black Hole. Bringing five Pro-Bowl appearances and back-to-back All-Pro selections, Adams gives Las Vegas Raiders fans a new jersey to buy and another reason to talk smack. Considering Las Vegas is still weeks away from playing in a preseason game, Adams has the Raider Nation buzzing.

Fans of the NFL are well-aware of the notorious "Madden" video game franchise. Unfortunately, the Raiders are usually a difficult team to play with as they often have poor ratings and game statistics. However, the team is trending in the right direction.

Raiders' Adams continues to excite the fanbase, as he was named to the "Madden 99 Club." This isn't unfamiliar territory for Derek Carr's best friend, as Adams was selected to the prestigious group for games "Madden NFL 21" and "Madden NFL 22."

'Madden' players worldwide may now look to use the Raiders in games and tournaments, since the best hands on the digital gridiron belong to Las Vegas' roster. On a team already featuring weapons like Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller, Adams will add to giving defenses, virtual or not, headaches.

The Raiders made a statement to the league by trading for Adams. It's obvious that Las Vegas isn't here to play — but gamers will now want to play as them.
