2 days remain until the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, Pa., April 23-25, 2026. After a 3-14 season in 2025, the Las Vegas Raiders hold the No. 1 overall pick as this daily countdown continues through the franchise’s best players by jersey number.

Ashton Jeanty, No. 2

Slim pickings at No. 2 for the Raiders, so Ashton Jeanty gets the nod after one season. He set the tone as a rookie and already looks like a building block.

Jeanty played all 17 games in 2025 and started each one. He gave Las Vegas a weekly workload and a steady scoring punch.

Why Jeanty gets No. 2

Jeanty is the best No. 2 because his 2025 production outpaces the rest of this jersey list. He rushed 266 times for 975 yards and five touchdowns.

Meanwhile, he added 55 catches for 346 yards and five more scores. That 10-touchdown season makes him the answer right now.

Draft and background

Jeanty was born Dec. 2, 2003, in Jacksonville, Fla. He attended Lone Star High School in Texas, then played at Boise State.

The Las Vegas Raiders drafted him in the first round (No. 6 overall) in 2025.
