Sixty-six days remain until the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, Pa., April 23-25, 2026. After a 3-14 season in 2025, the Las Vegas Raiders hold the No. 1 overall pick as this daily countdown continues through the franchise’s best players by jersey number.
Today, February 16, the number is 66.
Gabe Jackson is the pick for No. 66 because he was the Raiders most dependable guard of the 2010s. From 2014-2020, he gave the offense a steady interior anchor and a weekly physical presence.
Jackson played 100 games for the Raiders and started 99. That durability and consistency is the separator for this number.
This was one of the best games Gabe Jackson has had with the Raiders, IMO. Didn’t matter if he was pulling, Iso’ed, or double teaming, he was bringing physicality. #RaiderNation pic.twitter.com/zYi1ZBAwxF

Jackson was a plug-and-play starter from Day 1, which is rare on the offensive line. He also logged his best years in Silver and Black, then moved on after seven seasons.
And yes, he even has two career catches for the Raiders. They went for minus-5 yards, which is a perfect stat line for an offensive lineman.
Jackson was born July 12, 1991, in Liberty, Mississippi. He played at Amite County High School in Mississippi before starring at Mississippi State.
Then the Oakland Raiders drafted him in the third round, 81st overall, in 2014. He became a long-term starter and one of the most stable pieces of the offense.
Jacksons Raiders resume is built on availability and trust: 100 games and 99 starts in seven seasons. For No. 66, that is the cleanest case.
Next up tomorrow: No. 65.
