Thirty-five days remain until the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, Pa., April 23-25, 2026. After a 3-14 season in 2025, the Las Vegas Raiders hold the No. 1 overall pick as this daily countdown continues through the franchise’s best players by jersey number.
Today, March 19, the number is 35.
Hewritt Dixon is the pick for No. 35 because he delivered five seasons of high-end production as one of the early Raiders offensive stars. From 1966-1970, he gave the franchise a true dual-threat back who could run inside, catch the ball, and consistently move the chains.
Dixon played 66 games for the Raiders and made 55 starts. He rushed 731 times for 2,960 yards and 13 touchdowns, then added 190 catches for 1,750 yards and 10 more scores.
