Sometimes, you have to give the devil their due.
Over the last few years, the Los Angeles Chargers have turned the schedule reveal video into an artform. From anime-themed videos to last year’s rendition based on The Sims, the Chargers have fully embraced pop culture and have created some of the best reveals in recent memory. Similar to the themes of the videos, fans have grown accustomed to seeing the team take shots at their opponents, with the Las Vegas Raiders being a popular butt to their rival’s jokes.
This year, however, the Raiders were not going to take the latest shot laying down.
During the Raiders’ schedule reveal video, the segment announcing their matchups with the Chargers took fans to the trophy case.
As a tour guide mentions, the Raiders have three Lombardi Trophies from their time in Oakland and Los Angeles. When a fan asked how much success Los Angeles has had in the Super Bowl, the guide responded by saying two of three teams have brought championships to the City of Angels. It did not take much thought to know who the missing team was.

As fun as it is to take a dig at a division rival, the Chargers went all out once again in their schedule reveal, with this year’s theme being Minecraft. The Raiders once again found themselves in their crosshairs, but the sad part is that they do not even get the worst of it.
should we REALLY make our schedule release video in minecraft?

For another Raiders-specific joke, the QR code linking fans to the Chargers’ Week 13 clash with the Silver and Black at SoFi Stadium takes fans to a portal to buy tickets. However, the code takes fans down a rabbit hole full of Raiders references before showcasing a giant L at the end.
The Chargers put a QR code in their schedule release video for their Week 13 game vs. the Raiders.

The jokes are all well and good, but it will be no laughing matter when the two teams square off during the season.
