Raiders have right mindset vs. Bengals

The Las Vegas Raiders look to end a four-game losing streak against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati. The kick-off is scheduled for 10 a.m.

It won’t be easy, however. The Bengals have won two of their last three games but are coming off a 37-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8.

They will likely be without wide receiver Tee Higgins (quadricep) and running back Zack Moss (neck) against the Raiders.

Cincinnati remains a dangerous opponent, thanks to the quarterback-wide receiver duo of Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase. Chase caught 48 passes for a league-leading 674 yards with seven touchdowns this season.

“I’m really impressed with [Joe Burrow],” Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham said on Thursday via the Raiders website.

Aside from wanting to get the running game going and be more consistent on offense, the Raiders also look to get wide receiver and Cincinnati-native Tre Tucker more involved in all areas of tomorrow’s game.

Tucker is third on the team in receiving yards, with 252 yards on 23 catches.

“We got to find a way to get him the ball,” said Raiders head coach Antonino Pierce. “We’ve done that the last couple of weeks. … With Tre, we got to find different ways and different positions to get him open first and foremost. The ball also has to get out.”

The Raiders also have to play mistake-free ball, especially on the offensive side if they want to have a chance against the Bengals. Turnovers have killed this team’s momentum at times and with an explosive offense like the Bengals have, one mistake too many will end in another loss.
