The Las Vegas Raiders recently made a mid-week roster move that may end up being pretty important. They make a practice squad move every week, usually on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This time, they brought back a guy who made the original 53-man roster.
When the original 53-man roster came out at the beginning of the year, they kept six receivers, including Kristian Wilkerson, who displayed some explosiveness during the preseason.
They then sent him to the practice squad, and he's been on and off of it ever since. On Tuesday, they brought him back.
They also made some other roster moves in correlation. Here is what the Raiders team page tweeted out:
We have signed WR Kristian Wilkerson to the practice squad. Additionally, we have released LB Austin Ajiake and LB Isaac Darkangelo from the practice squad.
