Every NFL season the show "Hard Knocks" gets to have a special in-season edition show featuring one NFL team. This year's in-season team is the Miami Dolphins.
The first episode of Hard Knocks in the season with the Miami Dolphins featured the Raider's week 11 matchup against the Dolphins and defensive end, Maxx Crosby. A brief part of the first episode was about Crosby and what the Dolphin's game plan was for stopping him.
Crosby had the chance to speak to the media on the respect he got from the show in postgame in the locker room after the week 12 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
"Yeah I had some people in my family and stuff send it to me, so I checked it out. Me and Rachel watched it and it was cool you know at the end of the day I play the game for one reason is that I love it and I want to leave a legacy and be the best of what I do and when I see stuff like that it is like a little bit more validation about you know all the work I put in and you know it is just a little check mark."
"It gives me more motivation to keep going and keep getting better because I'm only at the beginning of my story so every single day is a battle, every day is a challenge. Getting to see other teams and things like that preparing for me in different ways and practicing in doing extra stuff and all that is pretty cool to see, especially when it's the great ones like the Dolphins, the Chiefs, and things like that and some of the best coaches and players in the league showing respect is really cool."
The Raiders are officially entering bye week for week 13 of the 2023-2024 NFL regular season. The Baltimore Ravens, the Buffalo Bills, the Chicago Bears, the Minnesota Vikings, and the New York Giants also join the Raiders this week on a week 13 bye.
The Silver and Black will return home to Allegiant Stadium to take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, December 10, at 4:05 p.m. EST/1:05 p.m. PST.
