The Las Vegas Raiders (5-7) are entering this Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings (6-6) rested, coming off of their bye week and looking to get back to their winning ways.

Traditionally, bye-weeks are not something that excites people late in the season, but for the 2023 Las Vegas Raiders, it has been a tremendous advantage.

OC Bo Hardegree spoke, and you can watch all that he said above, and read the transcript below:

 Interim Offensive Coordinator Bo Hardegree

Q: Did you get a chance over the bye week to unplug a little bit, but also maybe take a look at things in a way that maybe you can retool things a little bit? Coach Hardegree: "I did. We as a staff got together right at the beginning of the week. Got together on some things we've done. We were able to evaluate some positive and some negative, and really assess that going forward. So, we had some good time to spend there."

Q: Is there time left in the season to make subtle changes or dramatic changes to what you guys do offensively? Coach Hardegree: "Yeah, there's always time. But you have to be respectful for the players and then what we put on their plates. Because what we do, we expect to execute it, and we have to practice it and that has to carry over the game. So, wholesale changes, no, not at this time."

Q: What have you learned about yourself as a play caller over this last month? Coach Hardegree: "Well, every day I’ve learned something new. But that's been that way I feel like for my whole coaching career. So, I take the experience and I move on from it, whetherit's a positive or a negative one."

Q: What's the key to finding consistency? It seems like you have good drives and good plays, so what is the key to finding that balance throughout the game and just sustaining things? Coach Hardegree: "Execution, relying on the things we do well. Is there a better call sometimes? Possibly. Is there better execution out there? Certainly. Just those things combined into one, but just staying levelheaded and calling a good game."

Q: When you look at the Vikings defense on film, Danielle Hunter, he kind of jumps off on the film. How much of an impact does he have on that Vikings defense and how can you kind of limit him? Coach Hardegree: "Yeah, he's a great player. Like I've told you guys before, there's one every week. And them as a whole, as a football team, they're a very good football team."

Q: When you were able to take that review and look at the film, any takeaways from Aidan O'Connell over these four games? Coach Hardegree: "He's progressing. Very positive what he did last game. Obviously, you don't win, that's your number one job. That's my job. But he did a lot of positive things to grow from."

Q: What are some things that you've noticed within the relationship on and off the field between Aidan and Davante Adams? Coach Hardegree: "Yeah, I think they communicate well. He does a good job of communicating with all his teammates. He's been like that since he came here. He's very grateful for his opportunity and he's trying to make the best of it."

Q: You talk about every team having at least one guy that is going to wreck your day sometimes if you allow him to. Where's the balance between making sure you account for those type of players and not just obsessing over them and forgetting about what you want to do? Coach Hardegree: "There's a balance. But it would be irresponsible not to pay attention to a great player as we do every week."

The Silver and Black will return home to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, December 10, at 4:05 p.m. EST/1:05 p.m. PST.
