Tom Brady has mostly tried to stay in the shadows since he officially became a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. He wasn't at any of the big press conferences this offseason and wasn't around during the draft.
However, he finally decided to make a public appearance in support of the team at a recent training camp practice. He was decked out in Raiders gear, which was a shocking sight for many NFL fans. This led to Brady being a discussion topic among players.
While Brady didn't appear physically in the Raiders' draft room, he was still involved. He was expected to help the team find their quarterback of the future, but they decided to wait until later in the draft to address the position when they selected Cam Miller in the sixth round.
According to The Athletic's Dan Pompei, Brady gave the thumbs on on drafting Miller. The former North Dakota State star is humbled by the endorsement.
"If it is true, that's very humbling and honoring to know the best quarterback to ever play the game endorsed me," Miller told reporters on Monday.

Brady hasn't had time to get to know every player on a personal level. He isn't in Las Vegas day-to-day, and he only has so much time.
He should eventually be somewhat involved with the team's quarterbacks due to his expertise. Miller revealed that Brady spoke to the team, and he's hoping to soak up every bit of knowledge he can get.
"I'll be writing down every single thing he says," Miller said of Brady.
