The Las Vegas Raiders don’t have a huge need at offensive tackle, especially when it comes to starter-level talent, but it’s hard not to have interest in Memphis OT Travis Burke, who’s 6’9.
The Las Vegas Raiders recently met with one of the more unique prospects in the entire draft, especially regarding the offensive line. While they have starting tackles in place, adding depth in the trenches remains a priority.
Klint Kubiak said the Raiders love their starting tackle stability. So, unless a top-tier tackle unexpectedly falls to them, they’re focused on depth rather than finding a starter.
The team’s pre-draft meetings confirm interest in adding depth at tackle, whether through the draft or undrafted free agents. Their recent visit with a uniquely skilled tackle stands out.
According to agent Ali Barnes of Delta Sports Group, the Raiders conducted a virtual meeting with Memphis Tigers offensive tackle Travis Burke. At 6’9” and 330 pounds, Burke ranks among the tallest prospects in the draft. He has 34 1/4-inch arms, 10 1/8-inch hands, and recorded a 5.17-second forty-yard dash.

While Burke is undeniably an impressive athlete, it’s important to note his projected status. Many sources list him as a likely Undrafted Free Agent. A to Z Sports’ new Mock Draft Simulator ranks him as the 323rd overall player and the 30th offensive tackle in this year’s draft. Burke is currently a stronger run blocker than pass blocker, though both aspects of his game require significant development. He remains a raw prospect at this stage.
When evaluating Burke further, one particular game from his Memphis tape stands out. Against Arkansas, which may have had the best defensive line talent among his opponents, Burke practically shut down their top edge rusher, Quincy Rhodes, despite giving up a sack in the game.
Aside from that one negative play by Burke, his performance was nearly flawless. He successfully passed off stunts, picked up blitzes, and even reached the second level a few times when his quarterback scrambled. While his movement is a bit stiff, this is understandable given his towering 6’9” frame. Burke has a ton of visits and meetings lined up with teams, so the Raiders aren’t the only ones privy to this unique prospect.
