The Las Vegas Raiders are adding more depth to their defensive line with five games remaining for the 2023-24 NFL regular season. On Tuesday, the Raiders announced the signing of defensive end Janarius Robinson from the practice squad and signed him to the active roster.

Robinson was signed to the Raiders practice squad during Raiders training camp this past August. He was activated and played his first-ever NFL game in week 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs. He finished the game playing three snaps and recording one tackle.

The Panama City, Florida, native played his college ball at Florida State University. Robinson played four seasons at Florida State and recorded eight sacks and 20.5 tackles for loss during his time with the Seminoles.

The Minnesota Vikings initially drafted Robison in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He was later waived and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in his rookie season. Robinson spent some time on the active rosters for both teams; however, he had to deal with multiple injuries that prevented him from missing any NFL action.

Robison could have the chance to play the former team that drafted him this Sunday in Allegiant Stadium.

On Tuesday, the Raiders also signed defensive end Charles Snowden to the Raiders practice squad. Snowden was most recently on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and appeared in two games for the Chicago Bears in 2021.

Snowden played his college ball at the University of Virginia. He played 45 games for the Cavaliers, totaling 190 tackles, 30.5 tackles for loss, and two interceptions.

The Raiders are ranked 20th in total defense with 343.8 yards per game. They are also defensively ranked 13th in passing with 258.6 yards per game, 25th in rushing with 127.0 yards per carry, and tied for 16th in points allowed with 21.3 points per game.

Be on the lookout for these two newly signed Raiders as they try to make an impact on the Silver and Black defensive line with five crucial games left on the schedule.

The Silver and Black will return home to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, December 10, at 4:05 p.m. EST/1:05 p.m. PST.
