It's a one-year deal between DE Jordan Willis and the Raiders, per source. 49ers still needs to find one more defensive end. There are a lot still available in free agency and the draft seems to have a lot of options, too. This year's draft is deep on TEs and DL.— Matt Barrows (@mattbarrows) March 20, 2023
Willis has been with the 49ers since 2020, following a trade from the New York Jets on October 27, 2020. He's recorded 7.5 sacks in a rotational role since arriving in Santa Clara.
The Cincinnati Bengals made Willis (6-4, 270) a third-round selection (No. 73 overall) out of Kansas State in 2017. He registered 12 tackles, three tackles for a loss, two sacks, four quarterback hits, and a forced fumble through nine game appearances last season, per Pro Football Reference.
