Raiders' Tom Telesco very blunt when asked about Davante Adams being available for trade
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Raiders have had plenty of drama surrounding the last year. Let's start with the fact that Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler were fired, and before that, Davante Adams basically let everyone know he was not happy with the offense.

Then, the Raiders, of course, hired Antonio Pierce as the interim head coach. When it came time to make the decision for the full-time head coach, Maxx Crosby said he would be open to a trade if Pierce wasn't hired back.

And now we are here. Yet, somehow, people still think there is a way for the Las Vegas Raiders to trade away their best offensive player as if their offense wasn't already horrid last season.

On Tuesday at the 2024 NFL Draft Combine, Tom Telesco took to the podium and was asked if Davante Adams was available for a trade. He somewhat shut it down very quickly and had one of the more blunt answers you will see.

"He's a Raider," Telesco told reporters.

It feels like most Raiders fans know Adams isn't going anywhere, yet there is this portion of media and fans, mainly the New York Jets, that feel like they could get Adams and pair him back with Aaron Rodgers. But that's not happening.

The Raiders aren't dealing with Adams anywhere, and they will need him for their next quarterback, as he will need a player who can be a safety blanket during his rookie season. Why would they trade him? Now, everyone can quit asking.
