We will be seeing some new quarterbacks starting for the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers in Week 18.

The Rams will be starting backup quarterback Carson Wentz in their game Sunday at Levi’s Stadium against the Niners. The Niners will be starting backup quarterback Sam Darnold in the game.

The Rams locked up a wild-card spot and will either have the No. 6 or No. 7 seed in the NFC. The 49ers clinched the No. 1 seed in the conference and will rest starting quarterback Brock Purdy for the season finale.

Sunday will mark the first start of the season for Wentz, who was signed by the Rams in early November. He played in eight games last season for Washington, making seven starts.

Darnold has appeared in nine games this season but will be making his first start for San Francisco. The former No. 3 overall draft pick has gone 12-of-20 for 108 yards with a touchdown and interception.

The Rams are 9-7 and the Niners are 12-4 this season.
