It was learned on Wednesday that a fan who ran onto the field with a pink flare during this past Monday's NFL game between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers filed a police report against Rams linebacker Bobby Wagner after he trucked that fan with a massive blow:

Host Jonas Knox and former NFL quarterback Brady Quinn of the "2 Pros and a Cup of Joe" radio program made it clear they believe the individual deserved the hit delivered by Wagner.
"What is this guy's gripe? He ran on the field, he tried to be a protester. If somebody runs on the field, you have full clearance to light them up, correct?" Knox asked during a segment, per Lee DeLapp of iHeartRadio.
"Oh, you get the business," Quinn responded. "You enter the arena. You get the real effects. I think Bobby Wagner is going to have a defense because, what was the guy holding, a smoke bomb? You don't know what he's gonna do with that. Once he enters that arena, you have to be able to have the ability to protect yourself.
"That's like a 'Stand Your Ground' law... I actually absolutely hate the fact that someone has the audacity to now sue after they trespassed in the first place, and then they're upset that they got knocked down. What a clown."
As Sarah Barshop noted for ESPN, the protester was an activist from the animal rights group Direct Action Everywhere and wanted to "raise awareness for a trial involving the alleged theft of pigs from a factory farm."
Meanwhile, Rams coach Sean McVay defended his player on Wednesday.
"I think that we all know where Bobby's intentions were," McVay said at that time. "And I support Bobby Wagner. That's where I'm at with that. I don't think anybody will disagree."
The 2-2 Rams next host the 3-1 Dallas Cowboys this coming Sunday.
