The Los Angeles Rams did not waste any time starting off their offseason with a bang.
On Sunday evening just before the start of NFL free agency, the Rams agreed to a two-year, $46 million contract with superstar wide receiver Davante Adams.
Adams, who had been released by the New York Jets, will be a nice addition to help replace Cooper Kupp. Kupp is expected to be traded or released at some point this offseason.
Landing with Los Angeles helps Adams play out west. He had a desire to play on the west coast and he has now been able to make that desire become a reality.
NFL insider Ian Rapoport was the first on the report.

Prior to signing with the Rams, Adams had been linked to quite a few different teams. He had been rumored to be a target for teams like the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers.
Instead, Los Angeles was able to reload their offensive roster around Matthew Stafford.
Sean McVay will have a field day working with Adams. The 32-year-old wide receiver is one of the best route runners in the NFL. He will work alongside Puka Nacua at the position.
During the 2024 NFL season split between the Jets and Las Vegas Raiders, Adams ended up catching a total of 85 passes for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 games.
Adams may be 32 years old, but his production still proves that he's one of the best wideouts in the league.
