Davante Adams certainly seemed to have a pointed message to at least one of his former teams when commenting on his decision to join the Los Angeles Rams.
The veteran wide receiver raved about the environment around Rams practices on Tuesday, pointing out that coaches and teammates are all in a good mood. He used that as an opportunity to contrast the situation with the “dark cloud” he has experienced at other teams in recent years.
“Everybody’s in a good mood. It’s not like a dark cloud over the building. And I’ve experienced that quite a bit over the last few years,” Adams said. “So, it’s a glaring difference when you come into a building like this.”
Davante Adams said he feels "rejuvenated" this offseason in LA.

"Everybody's in a good mood. It's not like a dark cloud over the building. And I've experienced that quite a bit over the last few years. So, it's a glaring difference when you come into a building like this."
Adams spent most of the last three seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders before finishing last season with the New York Jets. Neither organization has had much success lately, so it is entirely plausible that he could be referring to either of them.
Critics might argue that Adams might have contributed to those dark clouds , especially with the Raiders. So far, however, he seems to love working with the Rams and is working on developing a rapport with quarterback Matthew Stafford. Only time will tell if that lasts.
