Rams DB Vows Against Playing Madden 26 After Embarrassing Moment in Trailer

Kam Curl has officially had enough of Madden 26. After seeing himself get embarrassed in the game’s latest trailer, the Los Angeles Rams' defensive back made it clear he won’t be picking up this year’s edition.

“Lmao I ain’t playing Madden this year (expletive),” Curl tweeted , reacting to the clip of Saquon Barkley juking him out of his shoes.

The moment, which quickly went viral, shows Barkley taking a handoff and making a sharp cut that sends Curl lunging forward, completely missing the tackle. The animation is brutal, and Curl wasn’t the only one who noticed.

Seattle Seahawks safety Quandre Diggs chimed in with a laughing response: “Why they do you like that dawg!”

Curl, still in disbelief, fired back: “Been playing all my life and this how my first time being on the trailer gone be.”

It’s a tough break for Curl, who has been a solid presence in the Rams’ secondary. Last season, he recorded 79 tackles, nine pass breakups, and one interception, proving he’s more than capable of making plays in real life, even if Madden didn’t do him any favors.

The Rams will get another shot at Barkley this season when they face the Eagles in Week 3. Curl might have extra motivation to make sure the real-life version of Barkley doesn’t embarrass him the way the Madden trailer did.
