One Los Angeles Rams defender lit into Jalen Hurts for a viscous hit.
The kind that sparked a wide range of reactions on Sunday.
Hurts took pressure all day inside Lincoln Financial Field. But got caught off guard on this blitz call involving Jaylen McCollough during the first half. McCollough arrived via a cornerback blitz.

McCollough ended the Eagles' offensive drive during that first quarter blow up. But again got many people reacting.
NFL reporter Arye Pulli was one who raved about the hit.
"Jaylen McCollough just DESTROYED Jalen Hurts. What a hit on the blitz," Pulli posted on the social media website X, formerly known as Twitter.
Another fan reminded that the play was a clean sack -- as McCollough never initiated helmet-to-helmet contact.
The fan account Pro Football Pulse called "hit stick" on the play.
One more fan compared the hit to Thor dropping his hammer.
McCollugh previously got C.J. Stroud for a sack in Week 1 against the Houston Texans. Shula is showing he can trust the second-year defender from Tennessee on blitzes.
He previously tallied 43 tackles with 26 solo stops. But he's best known for grabbing four interceptions in '24 -- tying for the team lead alongside Kamren Kinchens last season.
Los Angeles and defensive coordinator Chris Shula cranked up the heat on a past tormentor.
McCollough wasn't the only wicked sack. Jared Verse also plowed into Hurts through his right side pass rush -- forcing a Hurts fumble.

Defensive tackle Poona Ford rose as one more defender snatching Hurts for the sack. Ford, though, grabbed Hurts by the legs for his first sack in a Rams uniform.

The Rams took a commanding 26-7 lead thanks to the new defensive blueprint. But Philly started to rally back toward the end of the third, cutting the lead to 26-21.
