Matthew Stafford's renaissance has propelled the Los Angeles Rams to the NLF playoffs.

And he is getting awarded for it.

Recently, the team announced their in-house awards, and Stafford was named the Rams' most valuable player, earning the Daniel F. Reeves Memorial Award.

Stafford was voted a captain by his teammates at the start of the year. He then responded with one of his best seasons in his Rams career.

The veteran quarterback completed 326 of 521 pass attempts for 3,965 yards with 24 touchdowns. His passing yards are currently sixth-most in the NFL heading into Week 18.

Since the Rams' bye week, Stafford has guided the Rams to a 6-1 record, with the only loss coming in an overtime tussle with the Baltimore Ravens.

To put the final touches on a special year for Stafford, he became the 11th 11th player in NFL history to throw for 53,000 career passing yards. He also moved to 11th all-time in career passing touchdowns.

Stafford was named to the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl roster earlier this week. It marks the second time since he was traded to the Rams he has been tabbed as one of the league's best. His first selection to the Pro Bowl with the Rams came in 2021. He missed the game to play in the Super Bowl, where Los Angeles defeated the Cincinnati Bengals.

Other Rams award winners include: Puka Nacua was voted the team's rookie of the year; Cooper Kupp earned the sportsmanship of the year award; and Joe Noteboom was named role model of the year.
