The Los Angeles Rams upset the Seattle Seahawks 30-20 in the wild-card round on Saturday night, but they lost an important member of their defense in the process.
Star defensive tackle Aaron Donald suffered a rib injury in the win, but X-rays returned negative and Rams head coach Sean McVay is "hopeful" the 29-year-old will be available for the divisional round.

Addendum: I forgot to mention MRI coming today but no break detected yesterday. Good sign. https://t.co/d5nJ1lNpLX
Donald was injured after landing awkwardly while taking down Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. The two-time Defensive Player of the Year recorded two tackles for a loss before exiting.
The Rams also lost John Wolford to a neck injury in the upset of Seattle while Jared Goff was forced to play after undergoing thumb surgery.
The Rams' divisional-round opponent will be determined by the New Orleans Saints-Chicago Bears wild-card round matchup. If the Saints win, the Rams will face the Green Bay Packers. If the Bears take down New Orleans, L.A. will take on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
