Rams Insider Shares Latest Davante Adams Injury Update, Offensive Line Injuries Ahead Of Week 4 Colts Game
NFL: Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles Bill Streicher-Imagn Images

The Los Angeles Rams are heading into Week 4 with optimism, despite minor injury concerns to key offensive players. According to Sarah Barshop, “I don’t see WR Davante Adams (sore hamstring) or RT Rob Havenstein (ankle) in the portion of practice open to the media. Sean McVay said yesterday he didn’t expect either injury to affect either’s game status. LG Steve Avila is out at practice.”

Davante Adams’ Status for Week 4

Davante Adams has been dealing with a sore hamstring stemming from the Rams’ tough Week 3 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. He didn’t participate in Wednesday’s practice, but head coach Sean McVay isn’t concerned. Adams is not listed with a game designation and is expected to suit up against the undefeated Indianapolis Colts on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET.

Adams’ 2025 campaign has been productive so far. Through three games, he has 13 receptions for 213 yards and two touchdowns, with 29 targets. Notably, he posted a 44-yard touchdown on a three-catch, 56-yard performance against the Eagles, showcasing his ability to make explosive plays despite limited touches.

While Adams’ status looks solid, the offensive line has seen some disruptions. RT Rob Havenstein (ankle) did not participate in media-viewable practice, and LG Steve Avila remained out. McVay, however, has downplayed concerns, suggesting the line injuries shouldn’t significantly affect game-day performance.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford continues to have reliable options, with Adams and Puka Nacua leading the receiving corps. Colby Parkinson remains listed on the injury report with limited participation (shoulder), but has had minimal production this season.

Fantasy Football Implications

For fantasy managers, Adams remains a must-start WR1 if active. His consistent targeting and ability to convert big plays—combined with Stafford’s focus on his top receivers—make him a central figure in the Rams’ passing attack. Even with minor hamstring soreness, his workload should be robust, especially against a Colts defense that has shown vulnerability in the passing game.

The Rams’ offense has been efficient in 2025, scoring 59 total points over the past two games and ranking 11th in PFSN’s OFFi metric in Week 3. A healthy Adams on Sunday means fantasy managers can continue to rely on him as a primary playmaker.

Week 4 Outlook

With the Colts presenting a challenging matchup, the Rams’ offensive weapons—including Adams, Nacua, and a mostly intact offensive line—will be critical. Adams’ veteran experience, combined with McVay’s strategic use, should keep him active and productive, maintaining his WR1 value for fantasy purposes heading into Week 4.
