Rams Make $22.5 Million Decision Before Buccaneers Game

The Los Angeles Rams have signed one of their linebackers to an extension.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter , the Rams have signed linebacker Nate Landman to a three-year, $22.5 million extension. It comes after the Rams signed him to a one-year deal for the 2025 season.

Landman came over from the Atlanta Falcons after spending three seasons with them. His best season came in 2023 when he played in 16 games, compiling 110 tackles, two sacks, three forced fumbles, an interception and three passes defended.

He has played in 10 games this season and has been great, racking up 91 tackles, 1.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and four passes defended.

The Rams are one of the top teams in the NFC and currently lead the NFC West with an 8-2 record. They're one game up on the Seattle Seahawks for first in the division after beating them 21-19 last Sunday.

The Rams will face another test this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who lead the NFC South with a 6-4 record and are a half-game ahead of the Carolina Panthers.

Landman will try to make a big impact in this game for the Rams and help them secure their ninth win of the year.

Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC. Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth will have the call for "Sunday Night Football."
